A COORDINATED, TIMELY RESPONSE
When a Child Needs Help
Responding to a report of suspected child abuse requires a coordinated effort among professionals, including law enforcement, Child Protective Services, prosecutors, medical professionals, and mental health professionals.
For the child and family, going through this process alone brings fear and uncertainty.
The Children’s Advocacy Center of Parker County provides a safe, child-friendly environment where the child can begin to feel comfortable and find the courage to talk about what happened, at their own pace.
The child and their caregivers also receive guidance, mental health services, and resources throughout the process.
As a result, families have a team of compassionate experts in their corner who know exactly how to navigate this difficult process while protecting the child from unnecessary additional trauma.
