The Mission of the Children's Advocacy Center of Parker County is to end the cycle of abuse by giving the children of Parker County a voice. The Children's Advocacy Center of Parker County will coordinate the collaborative efforts between Child Protective Services, Law Enforcement, and Prosecution, in the investigation of child abuse cases by providing specialized forensic interviews, therapeutic recovery services for the victim and their families, medical evaluations, and victim support and advocacy. They will also provide education for schools and communities on child abuse.
According to the Children's Advocacy Centers of Texas, there are over 70 Children's Advocacy Centers servicing counties in Texas. Currently, Parker County is the largest county in Texas that is not serviced by a Children's Advocacy Center.

Parker County law enforcement investigated over 150 cases in which children were listed as the victims in 2016. In the same year, Child Protective Services in Parker County received 725 reports with allegations of child physical abuse or child sexual abuse. These statistics are alarming and show the need for a Children's Advocacy Center in Parker County in order to provide services locally to its residents.
